Formation of units

26. Formation of units



(1) The Board may at any time and from time to time establish fire or
emergency services units to assist it in carrying out its functions.

(2) A unit may consist of-

   (a)  persons employed by the Board; or

   (b)  persons engaged under any contract or arrangement entered into by the
        Board; or

   (c)  both.

(3) A member of a unit is subject to the direction and control of the Chief
Officer.
