Annual licence fee and statement

23. Annual licence fee and statement







(1) A licensee must pay to the Authority the annual licence fee required by
the regulations on each anniversary of the date the licensee was granted a
licence under section 13 (or under section 15 of the Motor Car Traders Act
1973).

(2) An annual licence fee may be paid at any time in the 6 weeks before it
falls due.





(3) The payment must be accompanied by a statement in respect of the year up
to the date that the payment is made that is in a form approved by the
Authority and that is signed-

   (a)  by the licensee, if the licensee is a natural person; or

   (b)  if the licensee is a body corporate, by a director of the body
        corporate; or

   (c)  if the licensee is a partnership, by a partner.

(4) The statement must contain any information, and be accompanied by any
documents, required by the Authority.
