Provision of information for the purposes of this Act

12A. Provision of information for the purposes of this Act

Despite anything to the contrary in section 18 of the
Business Licensing Authority Act 1998, for the purposes of determining
compliance with this Act and for carrying out the functions of the Authority
or the Director under this Act-

   (a)  the Authority may disclose to the Committee, any information collected
        in the course of carrying out the Authority's functions under this
        Act; and

   (b)  the Director may disclose to the Authority and the Committee, any
        information collected in the course of carrying out the Director's
        functions under this Act; and

   (c)  the Committee must disclose to the Authority the details of any
        successful claim made on the Fund in relation to a motor car trader;
        and

   (d)  the Committee may disclose to the Authority and the Director, any
        information collected by the Committee in the course of carrying out
        the Committee's functions under this Act in relation to the Fund.
