Conflict of interest
26. Conflict of interest
The Chief Examiner or an Examiner must not perform any function or duty or
exercise any power under this Act in relation to a matter if-
(a) he or she has a personal interest (whether pecuniary or otherwise) in
the matter; and
(b) the interest appears to raise a conflict of interest with the proper
performance of his or her function or duty, or the proper exercise of
his or her power, in relation to the matter.
