Witness expenses

19. Witness expenses



(1) A person who attends before the Chief Examiner in answer to a witness
summons is entitled to be paid the same allowances and expenses that would be
payable to a Crown witness in a criminal proceeding in the Magistrates' Court.

(2) The allowances and expenses are to be paid by the Chief Commissioner.
