Appointment of officers
19. Appointment of officers
(1) The Council must appoint-
(a) a Dean as chief executive officer of the College; and
(b) a Registrar as public officer and Secretary of the College.
(1A) The Council may appoint examiners, teaching staff and any other officer
or person that are necessary for carrying out the objects and purposes of the
College.
(2) The Council-
(a) may provide for the remuneration of any officer or person so
appointed; and
(b) may remove any officer or person so appointed.
(3) A member of the Council is not disqualified by reason only of his
membership from being appointed to any office under this section.
(4) The Council may by resolution specify the persons or classes of person who
are to be academic staff and general staff employed by the College for the
purposes of this Act.
