Melbourne College of Advanced Education (Amalgamation) Act 1988 - SECT 1

Purpose

1. Purpose

The following are the purposes of this Act-

   (a)  to facilitate the amalgamation of the
        Melbourne College of Advanced Education with The University of
        Melbourne;



   (b)  to repeal the Melbourne College of Advanced Education Act 1982;

   (c)  to make consequential amendments to various Acts.
