15. Regulations
The Governor in Council may make regulations for or with respect to any matter
or thing required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed or necessary to be
prescribed to give effect to this Act. __________________

for this Act was "to provide for the appointment of a Special Investigations
Monitor, to amend the Public Sector Management and Employment Act 1998, the
Whistleblowers Protection Act 2001 and the Juries Act 2000 and for other
purposes." The Major Crime (Special Investigations Monitor) Act 2004 was
assented to on 12 October 2004 and came into operation on 16 November 2004:
