84. Appeal by DPP against sentence for offence punishable summarily



(1) The Director of Public Prosecutions may appeal to the County Court against
any sentencing order made by the Court in a criminal proceeding conducted in
accordance with Schedule 2 if satisfied that an appeal should be brought in
the public interest.

(2) The Director of Public Prosecutions must not bring a further appeal
against a sentencing order made by the County Court.
