Statement to be given to defendant
46. Statement to be given to defendant
The Court must, if the defendant in a criminal proceeding is not represented
by a legal practitioner, cause to be given to the defendant immediately after
the close of the evidence for the prosecution, a statement in writing of the
options referred to in section 398 of the Crimes Act 1958.
