Council of magistrates

15. Council of magistrates



(1) A Council of the magistrates (not including any acting magistrate) must
meet at least once in each year on a day or days fixed by the Chief Magistrate
to-

   (a)  consider the operation of this Act and the Rules; and

   (b)  consider the working of the offices of the Court and the arrangements
        relating to the duties of court officials; and

   (c)  inquire into and examine any defects which appear to exist in the
        system of procedure or the administration of the law in the Court.

(2) The Chief Magistrate must cause adequate notice of a meeting to be given
to all the magistrates.

(3) The magistrates must report annually to the Governor on the operation of
the Court.
