Assignment of duties
13. Assignment of duties
(1) The Chief Magistrate may assign duties to a magistrate or judicial
registrar.
(2) A magistrate or judicial registrar must carry out the duties that are from
time to time assigned to him or her by the Chief Magistrate.
(3) A magistrate (other than an acting magistrate), although not appointed on
a part-time basis, may, by agreement in writing entered into with the Chief
Magistrate, undertake the duties of a magistrate on a part-time basis.
