Vacation of office

12. Vacation of office

A person ceases to hold office as a magistrate if-

   (a)  he or she attains the age of 70 years; or





   (b)  he or she is removed from office by the Governor in Council in
        accordance with Part IIIAA of the Constitution Act 1975; or

   (c)  his or her office is abolished by or under an Act.
