PART 1 PRELIMINARY

Purpose

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Act is to provide for carrying out an agreement entered
into between the Commonwealth, New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South
Australia and the Australian Capital Territory with regard to the water, land
and other environmental resources of the Murray-Darling Basin.
