Previous convictions

28B. Previous convictions

In determining for the purpose of section 28A(1) or (2) or section 28C whether
an offence (in this section referred to as the relevant offence) is a first
offence, any other offence in respect of which a conviction was recorded or a
finding of guilt was made 10 years or more before the commission of the
relevant offence is to be disregarded if not to do so would make the relevant
offence a subsequent offence for the purpose of that provision.
