Underage operators

17. Underage operators



(1) The owner of a vessel which has an engine that is used for propulsion must
not cause or allow the vessel to be operated on State waters by a person who
is less than 12 years old, and a person who is less than 12 years old must not
so operate such a vessel.

Penalty: For a first offence, 4 penalty units. For a subsequent offence, 8
penalty units.
