Recovery of arrears after cessation of order

25. Recovery of arrears after cessation of order



(1) The fact that an order under this Act for the maintenance of a person
ceases to have effect by virtue of this Act shall not prevent the enforcement
of the order so far as it relates to any period before it ceased to have
effect.

(2) Subsection (1) of this section shall not apply where the order ceases to
have effect by reason of the death of the defendant.
