Definitions

3. Definitions



(1) In this Act-

the Court means the Supreme Court.

(2) In any Act and any entry register certificate or other document unless the
contrary intention appears-

the expression registrar of marriages means any officer heretofore or
hereafter appointed by the Governor in Council for the purpose of celebrating
marriages; and



the expression guardian of minors means-

   (a)  any magistrate; or
