Regulations

421. Regulations

The Governor in Council may pursuant to the provisions of section ninety-three
make regulations for-

   (a)  the alteration of any dates fixed in any section whatever of this Act
        or of the times within which anything may or may not be done or
        executed; and

   (b)  generally carrying out all or any of the provisions of this Division.

3. Explanatory Details

1 S. 401: See s. 110 of the Mines (Amendment) Act 1983, No. 9936/1983 for
transitional provisions.

2 S. 402: See note 3. 3 Table of Amendments (Minerals and Energy Fees Act
1983): Sections 6, 10, 16, 24-26, 28, 30 and 31 of the Minerals and Energy
Fees Act 1983 have not been proclaimed. These sections propose to amend
sections of the Mines Act 1958 which have been repealed, as from 6 November
1991, by section 126(1) of the Mineral Resources Development Act 1990. 4 Table
of Amendments (Transfer of Land (Computer Register) Act 1989): The amendments
proposed by section 13(Schedule 2 item 58) of the Transfer of Land (Computer
Register) Act 1989 are not included in this publication due to the earlier
repeal of sections 45 and 327 of the Mines Act 1958 by section 126(1) of the
Mineral Resources Development Act 1990. ??
