Offences

400C. Offences

A person who-



   (a)  forges or counterfeits or knowingly makes any false statement in
        obtaining a certificate of competency granted by the Board or any
        official copy of such certificate or any permit granted under section
        386;

   (b)  knowingly utters or uses any such certificate of competency or copy or
        permit granted under section 386 which has been forged or
        counterfeited or contains any false statement;

   (c)  knowingly makes use of or attempts to make use of any certificate of
        competency granted by the Board or any permit granted under section
        386 to some other person; or

   (d)  for the purpose of obtaining for himself or any other person
        employment as the holder of a certificate of competency or permit
        under this Act or the grant renewal or restoration of any certificate
        or permit under this Act or a copy of any such certificate or permit
        either-

   (i)  makes or gives any declaration representation (by impersonation or
        otherwise) statement or evidence which is false in any particular; or

   (ii) knowingly utters produces or makes use of any such declaration
        representation statement or evidence or any document contained in the
        same- shall be guilty of an indictable offence and liable to a fine of
        20 penalty units or imprisonment for a term of not more than two years
        or both.
