As to cancellation suspension of variation of certificates

398. As to cancellation suspension of variation of certificates

Upon publication of a notice under the last preceding section the holder of a
certificate of competency shall surrender his certificate to the Board and-

   (a)  in the case of cancellation of a certificate of competency-the Board
        shall retain the certificate of competency and endorse the certificate
        as having been cancelled;

   (b)  in the case of a suspension of a certificate of competency-the Board
        shall retain the certificate of competency until the period of the
        suspension expires; and

   (c)  in the case of an alteration-the Board shall alter the certificate of
        competency in accordance with the notice published in the Government
        Gazette and return the certificate to the holder as altered.
