Recognition of certificates of competency granted outside Victoria

394. Recognition of certificates of competency granted outside Victoria

Where an applicant for a certificate of competency satisfies the Board that he
has received from a proper authority in the United Kingdom or New Zealand or
any State of the Commonwealth of Australia a certificate of competency as a
mine manager and that the standard as to examination and experience required
for the certificate to be issued by the proper authority outside Victoria is
equivalent to that required under this Act the Board may issue a certificate
of competency to the applicant.
