The long title for the Bill for this Act was "A Bill relating to the Loy Yang B power station, to amend the State Electricity Commission Act 1958 and for other purposes.".
The Loy Yang B Act 1992 was assented to on 16 June 1992 and came into operation as follows:
Parts 1 (sections 1-4), 5 (sections 38-44) on 16 June 1992: section 2(1); rest of Act on 26 August 1992: Government Gazette 26 August 1992 page 2467.
