Land Titles Validation Act 1994 - SECT 1

PART 1 PRELIMINARY

Purpose

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Act is-

   (a)  to validate, in accordance with the Native Title Act 1993 of the
        Commonwealth, past acts that are invalid because of the existence of
        native title;

   (b)  to provide for compensation rights for the holders of native title
        which has been affected by past acts attributable to the State;

   (c)  to confirm certain existing rights.
