Vice Chancellor

21. Vice Chancellor



(1) The Council shall appoint a person (whether a member of the Council or
not) to be Vice Chancellor of the University.

(2) The Vice Chancellor shall hold office for such period and on such
conditions as the Council determines.

(3) Subject to this Act the Vice Chancellor shall be the chief executive
officer of the University and shall as such have such powers and duties as are
conferred or imposed upon him by the Statutes and regulations, and unless
otherwise expressly provided by the Statutes or the regulations the Vice
Chancellor shall have power to delegate any of his powers and duties, other
than this power of delegation, to any person or committee of persons.
