Pay increases while on leave

69. Pay increases while on leave



(1) If the ordinary pay of an employee who is on long service leave increases
while the employee is taking the leave, he or she is entitled to be paid the
increased rate from the time of the increase.

(2) If the employee was paid in full at the start of the leave or was paid in
advance with respect to any period of leave, the employer must pay the
additional amount resulting from the increase as soon as the employee returns
to work.

Penalty: 20 penalty units.
