Leave period may be split

67. Leave period may be split



(1) Long service leave must be taken in one period.

(2) However, if an employer and an employee agree, an employee-

   (a)  may take the first 13 weeks of long service leave to which he or she
        is entitled in 2 or 3 separate periods; and

   (b)  may take any further long service leave to which he or she becomes
        entitled in 2 separate periods.
