Attempting, aiding, inducing etc. offences

164. Attempting, aiding, inducing etc. offences

A person who-

   (a)  attempts to contravene; or

   (b)  aids, abets, counsels or procures a person to contravene; or

   (c)  induces, or attempts to induce, a person whether by threats or
        promises or otherwise to contravene-

a provision of this Act for which a penalty is specified is guilty of an
offence against that provision and is liable to the penalty specified for a
contravention of that provision.
