Form of disclosure
3.4.15. Form of disclosure
(1) Written disclosures to a client under this Division-
(a) must be expressed in clear plain language; and
(b) may be in a language other than English if the client is more familiar
with that language.
(2) If the law practice is aware that the client is unable to read, the law
practice must arrange for the information required to be given to a client
under this Division to be conveyed orally to the client in addition to
providing the written disclosure.
