2.6.3. Official notification to other jurisdictions of applications for
admission and associated matters



(1) This section applies if an application for admission to the legal
profession is made under this Act.

(2) The Board of Examiners may give the corresponding authority for another
jurisdiction written notice of any of the following (as relevant)-

   (a)  the making of the application;

   (b)  the refusal to certify that the applicant is eligible for admission,
        or is a fit and proper person to be admitted;

   (c)  the withdrawal of the application after an inquiry is proposed or
        commenced in relation to the application;

   (d)  the refusal of the Supreme Court to admit the applicant to the legal
        profession under this Act.

(3) The notice must state the applicant's name and address as last known to
the Board of Examiners and may contain other relevant information.
