2.4.29. Restriction on making further applications



(1) This section applies if the Board decides under section 2.4.12 or 2.4.28
to refuse to grant or renew a local practising certificate or to cancel a
person's local practising certificate.

(2) The Board may also decide that the person is not entitled to apply for the
grant of a local practising certificate for a specified period ending on or
before the end of the current financial year.

(3) If the Board makes a decision under subsection (2), the Board must include
the decision in the information notice required under section 2.4.12(3) or
2.4.28(3).

(4) A person in respect of whom a decision has been made under this section,
or under a provision of a corresponding law, is not entitled to apply for the
grant of a local practising certificate during the period specified in the
decision.
