Admission by the Supreme Court
2.3.6. Admission by the Supreme Court
(1) The Supreme Court may admit a person as a lawyer if-
(a) the Supreme Court is satisfied that the person-
(i) is eligible for admission to the legal profession; and
(ii) is a fit and proper person to be admitted to the legal profession; and
(b) the person takes an oath of office, or makes an affirmation of office,
in the form required by the Supreme Court.
(2) In determining whether or not to admit a person, the Supreme Court may
rely on the recommendation of the Board of Examiners.
