Notice and conditions of special meetings

24. Notice and conditions of special meetings



(1) The chief executive officer or other person calling a special meeting of
the Board or the executive committee must give members of the Board or the
executive committee (as the case requires) 7 days notice of the meeting or
notice of a lesser period determined by the Board.

(2) The notice referred to in subsection (1) must-

   (a)  set out the purpose of the meeting; and

   (b)  be delivered personally or sent by post, telex, facsimile or similar
        facility to the last known address of each member of the Board or the
        executive committee (as the case requires).

(3) A special meeting of the Board or the executive committee must not
consider a matter that is not within the purpose of the meeting as set out in
the notice under subsection (2)(a).
