Establishment and composition

18. Establishment and composition



(1) There shall be an executive committee of the Board.

(2) The executive committee consists of-

   (a)  the President; and

   (b)  the Vice-President; and

   (c)  6 other members of the Board.

(3) The executive committee members referred to in subsection (2)(c)-

   (a)  must be elected by the Board at the first ordinary meeting after each
        annual meeting; and

   (b)  hold office from the date of their election until the commencement of
        the first ordinary meeting of the Board after the annual meeting of
        the Board next following the members' election.

(4) A casual vacancy in the executive committee may be filled by a member of
the Board elected by the members of the Board to fill the vacancy.

(5) A member of the Board who fills a casual vacancy in the executive
committee holds office for the balance of the term of the office of the
executive committee member whose office the member is filling.
