Common seal of Council

8. Common seal of Council



A common seal of the council of any municipality immediately before the
commencement of section 5 of the Local Government Act 1989 is the common seal
of that Council for the purposes of that section, despite any failure of the
seal to comply with subsection (3)(a) of that section, and until the Council
changes to a new common seal.
