Committees of a Council

11. Committees of a Council



A committee of the council of a municipality under section 241A of the Local
Government Act 1958-

   (a)  which exists immediately before the commencement of this section; and



   (b)  which is a committee of a type which may be established under
        section 86 of the Local Government Act 1989-

is deemed to be a committee established by a Council under section 86 of the
Local Government Act 1989.
