68. Retirement of Councillors

(2) At a general election, the following provisions apply-

   (a)  all Councillors are to go out of office at 6 a.m. on the day appointed
        for each general election;

   (b)  the term of office of a Councillor elected at a general election
        commences at 6 p.m. on the day of the general election and expires at
        6 a.m. on the day appointed for the next general election.
