Unlawful nomination

52. Unlawful nomination





(1) If a person who is not qualified to be a candidate or is not capable of
becoming a Councillor submits a nomination the person is guilty of an offence.

Penalty: 20 penalty units.

(2) A person who submits a nomination in breach of section 70(2), 70(2A),
70(3), 70(4) or 70(5) is guilty of an offence.

Penalty: 20 penalty units.
