Payment of compensation

62. Payment of compensation

Compensation is payable to the owner of-

   (a)  any domestic livestock, premises, livestock product, fodder, fittings
        or vehicle destroyed under this Act for the purpose of controlling,
        eradicating or preventing the spread of an exotic disease; and

   (b)  any domestic livestock that is certified by an inspector as having
        died of an exotic disease.
