23. Notice of order declaring area or vehicle infected



(1) The Secretary must ensure that notice of an order declaring an area or
vehicle to be infected is published in the Government Gazette and, in the case
of an area, in a newspaper circulating generally in the vicinity of the area.

(2) The Secretary must ensure that written notice of an order declaring-

   (a)  any land, premises, place or area to be an infected place is given to
        the owner or person in charge or in apparent control of the land,
        premises, place or area to which the notice relates; and

   (b)  a vehicle to be an infected vehicle is given to the owner or person in
        charge or in apparent control of the vehicle to which the order
        relates.
