Grant of licence to amalgamated club

69. Grant of licence to amalgamated club



(1) After the period referred to in section 68(3)(a) (or that period as
extended under section 174) has expired, the Director may grant a club licence
to the applicant if satisfied-

   (a)  that the application was made in accordance with this Division; and

   (b)  that the rules of the applicant comply with Schedule 1 (except to the
        extent that the Director determines it is appropriate that they should
        not so comply); and

   (c)  that it is appropriate to grant the application in the circumstances.

(2) In making his or her decision, the Director must consider any objection
made under section 68.
