47. Determination of contested application after Panel report



(1) Subject to Division 3, the Director must grant or refuse to grant a
contested application after giving full consideration to the recommendations
of the Panel under section 46(4).

(2) The Director may refuse to grant a contested application on any of the
grounds set out in section 44(2) and section 44(3) applies accordingly.

(3) The Director may make any enquiries concerning a contested application he
or she thinks fit, but is not required to give any person an opportunity to be
heard concerning the application.
