Objection by Chief Commissioner

39. Objection by Chief Commissioner



(1) The Chief Commissioner may object to the grant, variation or relocation of
a licence or BYO permit on any grounds he or she thinks fit.

(2) The Chief Commissioner may object to the transfer of a licence or BYO
permit on the ground that the proposed transferee is not a suitable person to
hold the licence or permit.

(3) An objection must-

   (a)  be made to the Director in writing within 21 days after the day on
        which a copy of the application for the grant, variation, transfer or
        relocation was given to the Chief Commissioner under section 33(1);
        and

   (b)  state the grounds of, and the reasons for, the objection.
