Who can apply for a licence or BYO permit?

27. Who can apply for a licence or BYO permit?



(1) A person who-

   (a)  is a natural person of or over the age of 18 years or a body corporate
        (including an incorporated association, a co-operative or a Council);
        and

   (b)  is not disqualified from holding a licence or BYO permit under this
        Act-

may apply to the Director for a licence or BYO permit.

(2) A member of the committee of management of a club that is not a body
corporate may apply to the Director for a club licence on behalf of the club.

(3) A member of a partnership of natural persons may apply to the Director for
a licence or BYO permit on behalf of the partnership.
