Effect on guarantee of fixing rent

79. Effect on guarantee of fixing rent

If the payment of the rent of any prescribed premises is guaranteed and
subsequently to the giving of the guarantee the fair rent of the premises is
fixed under this Part, then, if the rent so fixed is less than the amount so
guaranteed, the guarantee shall be construed as if the amount guaranteed to be
paid was the amount fixed as the fair rent under this Part; but in any other
case the fixing of the fair rent under this Part shall not affect the
guarantee.
