Inspection and valuation of prescribed premises
62. Inspection and valuation of prescribed premises
(1) A Board if it thinks fit may cause any prescribed premises to be inspected
in connexion with the determination of the fair rent of the premises and may
cause any valuation of or report upon any such premises to be made and may
take any such valuation or report into consideration.
(2) The Board shall permit any party to the proceedings in respect of which a
valuation or report is made pursuant to subsection (1) to examine the
valuation or the report.
(3) In connexion with the determination of the fair rent of any prescribed
premises the Board on its own motion may, and if requested by any party to the
proceedings shall, refer the question of the valuation of the premises to the
Valuer-General, and the valuation of the Valuer-General shall be binding on
the Board as the valuation of the premises in relation to all matters
concerning the said determination of the fair rent of the premises.
