Delegation of powers and functions

52. Delegation of powers and functions



(1) The Minister or an authorized officer may by writing under his hand
delegate all or any of his powers or functions under this Part or under any
Order made under this Part or under the Acts previously in force (except this
power of delegation) so that the delegated powers and functions may be
exercised by the delegate.

(2) Any delegation by the Minister or an authorized officer under this section
or under the corresponding provision in the Acts previously in force shall be
revocable in writing at will and no such delegation shall prevent the exercise
of any power or function by the Minister or an authorized officer.
