23. Ballarat City Council deemed to be committee of management

On and from the commencement of section 22 of this Act-

   (a)  the appointment of the Corporation of the Shire of Ripon or its
        successor in law as committee of management under the
        Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978 of the land shown hatched on the plan
        in the Schedule to the Burrumbeet (Russell Reserve) Land Act 1982 as
        in force immediately before its repeal is revoked to the extent that
        it applies to that land; and

   (b)  the Ballarat City Council is deemed to be the committee of management
        of that land for the purposes of the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978.
