Obligations in relation to the occupation of land
76. Obligations in relation to the occupation of land
The Authority, or any person authorized in writing to that effect by the
Authority must-
(a) in exercising the powers under this Part cause as little harm and
inconvenience and do as little damage as possible to the land and
anything on or growing on the land; and
(b) remain upon the land only for such period as is reasonably necessary;
and
(c) remove from the land on the completion of the occupation of the land
all plant, machinery, equipment, goods or buildings brought onto, or
erected on, the land other than any of those things that the owner or
occupier agrees may be left on the land; and
(d) leave the land, as nearly as possible, in the condition in which it
was immediately before the land was occupied; and
(e) use all its best endeavours to co-operate with the owner and occupier
of the land.
