Interest on compensation where no land taken

54. Interest on compensation where no land taken

If an amount is awarded as compensation under Part 5 or section 26(12), the
amount that represents the difference between the amount of compensation
awarded and the amount of compensation offered by the Authority immediately
before the claimant's claim became a disputed claim bears interest at the rate
for the time being determined under section 52 from the date that the right of
claim accrued to the claimant until the date that the compensation is paid by
the Authority.
